Scottish Cut Comb, Heather and Blossom Honey

The uses of honey are many and varied and people are now starting to realize that this ancient tradition has many health benefits for todays users.
Throughout the centurys the beehive and its many products have been used in many ways.... from the honey sweetening food, being used to heal wounds, to candles. It’s a very romantic image of an ancient craft still alive today.
Here in Scotland we have the revered heather that comes out every August and sends our highland hills into a flurry of stunning purple hues that is magnificent to see. Not only is the colour a beautiful sight but so is the honey that the bees can produce off these plants.
